Sandra P. Fields

Sandra P. “Gargie” Fields, 80, of Washington, PA, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 17, 2025, in the Washington Hospital, with her family by her side.  She was born March 16, 1944, in Washington, PA, a daughter of the late Robert and Margaret Thomas Lewis.  Mrs. Fields graduated from Washington High School with Honors.  She was a member of the Living Waters Church of God in Washington and taught Sunday School at the Church for over 40 years.  Mrs. Fields was a homemaker until the age of 50 and then became employed at Burger King on Jefferson Ave in Washington from where she retired.  She enjoyed going to the casino, playing bingo, and most of all spending time with her family.  Mrs. Fields will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Surviving is her husband of 61 years, Joseph L. Fields of Washington, PA.  Also surviving are two sons, Joseph L. Fields, Jr. of Washington, PA, and Robert K. Fields of Washington, PA; two daughters, Debbie Fields of Washington, PA and Shelly Fields of Washington, PA; six grandchildren, Jeriod, Ashley, Robert, Jr., Jarae, Joshua, and Jeremy Fields, and four great grandchildren.  A host of nieces and nephews also survive.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Randy Lewis and by a daughter, Tina Fields.

Friends will be received on Thursday, January 23, 2025, from 10:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. the hour of a funeral service in the Warco-Falvo Funeral Home, Inc., Wilson at E. Katherine Ave., Washington, S. Timothy Warco, Owner/Supervisor, S. Timothy Warco II, Director, Holly Renay Warco, Director.  The Rev.
