General Price List
These prices, subject to change without notice, are effective as of January 1, 2023.
The goods and services shown below are those we can provide to our customers. You may choose only those items you desire. However, any funeral arrangement selected will include a charge for our basic services and overhead. If legal or other requirements mean you must buy any items you did not specifically ask for, we will explain in writing on the statement that we provide, describing the funeral goods and services you selected. This list does not include prices for certain items that you may ask us to buy for you such as cemetery goods and services, flowers, death certificates, and newspaper notices. This list does not include all the costs for final disposition that you may be required to pay.
Basic Services of the Funeral Director and Staff: $2,200
Our professional service charge includes but is not limited to counseling, availability on a 24-hour basis, staff assistance in local removal from place of death, consultation with family and clergy, assistance of staff in all necessary phases of arrangements, direction of visitation and funeral services, obtaining, preparation, and filing of necessary notices, authorizations, consents, certificates, and permits, care and arrangement of flowers, coordinating with those providing other portions of the funeral, e.g., cemetery, crematory and others, supervising of all arrangements pertaining to the funeral service, direction of funeral and assistance to family following funeral and final disposition, and presence at place of final disposition.
This fee for Basic Services of the Funeral Director and Staff will be added to the total cost of the funeral goods, services, and cash advance items that you select. A portion of this fee is already included in our charges for direct cremations, immediate burials, and forwarding or receiving remains.
Transfer of Remains to Funeral Home: $350
Within a 60 mile radius, additional $4 per additional mile. Subject to change in accordance with gas price increases.
Embalming: $1,385
Except in certain cases, embalming is not required by law. Embalming may be necessary, however, if you select certain funeral arrangements, such as a funeral with viewing. If you do not want embalming, you usually have the right to choose an arrangement which does not require you to pay for it, such as a direct cremation or an immediate burial.

Facilities, equipment, staff and viewing/visitation
Use of Facilities, Equipment, and Staff for Viewing/Visitation at Funeral Home: $590
This charge is for the use of facilities, equipment, and staff for viewing/visitation at the funeral home for one full day or a portion of the same thereof including but not limited to the use of adjacent family rooms, restrooms, and lounge.
Use of Equipment and Staff for Viewing/Visitation at Church: $590
This charge is for the use of equipment and staff for viewing/visitation at a church for one full day or a portion of the same thereof including the transportation of the casketed remains of the deceased from the funeral home to the church, casket placement in the church, floral arrangement and supervision of the visitation/viewing by a licensed funeral director.
Use of Facilities, Equipment, and Staff for Funeral Service or Memorial Service at Funeral Home: $590
This charge is for the use of facilities, equipment, and staff for a funeral service or memorial service at the funeral home including but not limited to the use of adjacent family rooms, restrooms, and lounge.
Use of Equipment and Staff for Funeral Service at Church: $590
This charge is for the use of equipment and staff for a funeral service at church.
Use of Equipment and Staff for Memorial Service at Church: no charge
No Charge - no charge will be assessed by the funeral home to the consumer for use of a church for a memorial service when there is no body present or when cremated remains are present unless however the consumer requests that the burial or entombment of the cremated remains take place directly after the memorial service. A fee of $590 will then be assessed to the consumer.
Use of Equipment and Staff for Graveside Service: $590
This charge is for the accompaniment of the remains to the cemetery and the supervision of our staff during the graveside service and interment. This fee is only applicable when there is no funeral service @ the funeral home or at church.
Use of Equipment and Staff for Mausoleum Service: $590
This charge is for the accompaniment of the remains to the cemetery and the supervision of our staff during the mausoleum service and entombment. This fee is only applicable when there is no funeral service @ the funeral home or at church.
AUTOMOTIVE EQUIPMENT
Prices for all vehicles include travel within a 30 mile radius of the funeral home. Additional mileage greater than 30 miles will carry a subsequent charge of $4 per additional mile per vehicle.

NEWSPAPER OBITUARIES
Obituaries posted in newspapers will carry charges reflective of the respective newspaper obituary rate.

Additional cremation urns are available upon request that may not be reflected on the general price list. Merchandise provided by Third Party Vendors must be received and accepted by a family member of the deceased. All warranties must be provided by Third Party Vendors for the same. Delivery of such merchandise shall be between the hours of 9 A.M. and 1 P.M.
Forwarding of Remains to Another Funeral Home: $2,995
This charge includes the removal of remains from place of death, basic services of the funeral director and staff, embalming, receptacle for the body and local transportation to airport or railhead. This charge does include local ground transportation to another funeral home within a 30 mile radius. Any ground transportation greater than 30 miles to the receiving funeral home will carry a charge of $4 per additional mile. This charge does not include the use of the funeral home facilities for any viewing/visitation, rites, or funeral ceremonies prior to forwarding the body.
Receiving of Remains from Another Funeral Home: $2,550
This charge includes basic services of the funeral director and staff, temporary shelter and care of the remains, and transportation of the remains to the cemetery or crematory. This charge does not include the use of the funeral home facilities for any viewing/visitation, rites, or funeral ceremonies prior to transportation of the remains to the cemetery or crematory. This charge also does not include the cost of a casket or a vault.
Immediate Burials: $2,900
This charge includes basic services of the funeral director and staff, removal from place of death, temporary shelter and care of the remains, and local transportation of the remains to the cemetery. This charge does not include the use of the funeral home facilities for any viewing/visitation, rites, or funeral ceremonies prior to transportation of the remains to the cemetery. This charge does not include any arterial preparation of the body, a casket, or a vault.
Direct Cremation with Alternative Container: $2,995
This charge includes basic services of the funeral director and staff, removal from place of death, temporary shelter and care of the remains for a period of 24 hours, alternative container, transportation to the crematory, and crematory fee. This charge does not include the costs for death certificates and or obituary notices, viewing/visitation, or any services at the funeral home.
If you want to arrange a direct cremation you can use an alternative container. Alternative containers encase the body and can be made of materials like heavy cardboard or composition materials (with or without an outside covering). We provide cremation containers made out of cardboard or wood.
Direct Cremation with Alternative Container Provided by Purchaser: $2,645

Refrigeration: $40 per day
N.B. Pennsylvania Rules and Regulations Number 13.211 (A) requires that any human remains held 24 hours beyond death shall be embalmed or sealed in a hermetically sealed container that will not allow fumes or odors to escape, or shall be kept under refrigeration; provided, however, that this does not conflict with any religious beliefs or medical examination.

A General Price List is provided by our funeral home to any individual who requests information about funeral costs or inquires about funeral goods and services.
When the unexpected death of a loved one occurs, families are often faced with the financial burden of paying for a traditional funeral and burial. At the Warco-Falvo Funeral Home, Inc. we offer a low cost economical funeral package to better fit the financial means of the families we serve. Listed below is a description of our Economical Funeral Package.
Economical Burial Package: $8,545
THIS PACKAGE INCLUDES:
Basic services of the funeral director and staff, embalming, other preparation of the deceased (cosmetics, dressing, casketing), use of the funeral home facilities, equipment and staff for one full day of visitation or a portion there of, use of the funeral home facilities, equipment and staff for the funeral service the next day, removal from place of death, clergy/lead car, service/utility car, hearse for the day of the funeral for transportation of the casket to the church and or cemetery, memorial package (Register Book, Customized Memorial Folders and Acknowledgement Cards), a twenty gauge steel casket (Two Color Choices) and a concrete grave liner (cave proof outer burial container provided if required by the cemetery), the filing of all necessary forms, the filing of the death certificate and burial permit, social security notification, veterans and insurance benefit claims assistance.

The following below are the cremation service package options that we offer to the families we serve. In no way are families limited to purchasing any of these packages or the goods and services that these packages include. We also provide itemized selection and pricing to accomodate the wishes of all the families that we have the privilege to serve.
Direct Cremation: $2,995
This package includes basic services of the funeral director and staff, removal from place of death, temporary shelter and care of the remains for a period of 24 hours, alternative container for cremation process, transportation to the crematory, crematory fee and basic wooden urn. This charge does not include the costs for death certificates and or obituary notices, viewing/visitation, or any services at the funeral home.
If you want to arrange a direct cremation you can use an alternative container and are in no way required to purchase a casket. Alternative containers encase the body and can be made of materials like heavy cardboard or composition materials (with or without an outside covering).
