Edward David Ealy
/Edward David “Ed” Ealy, 53 of Washington passed away on Sunday-June 20, 2021 in UPMC, Montefiore Hospital, Pittsburgh, following a brief illness with his wife by his side. He was born April 21, 1968 in Washington, PA the son of the late Cecil Edward Ealy and Susan Marlene Duckworth Ealy of Washington. Ed was a 1986 graduate of Trinity High School where he was enrolled in the Vo-Tech program. He later went on to graduate from Rosedale Technical College. Ed was Christian by faith. He worked for many years as a welder at Future-All Inc. and later in life worked as a cook at the Kopper Kettle. Ed enjoyed hunting and fishing and being outdoors. He loved to go to concerts and enjoyed dancing. Ed was always the life of the party and loved to have a good time. He was a huge Pittsburgh Steeler and Penguins fan and was a real cat and dog lover having a special way with them. Ed enjoyed spending time with his friends and family and took pride in taking care of his family. He had a very special bond with his son, Ethan. Ed was a kind and gentle soul that would help anyone in need and will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved him.
On May 14, 1994 he married Leslie Lou Kloska who survives. The couple had been together for almost thirty five years. Also surviving in addition to his mother and wife is a son, Ethan Edward Ealy of Washington; a brother, Kenny (Jennifer Hawk) Ealy of Washington and his father and mother in law, Louis and Connie Kloska of Washington, whom Ed had a very special bond with. Also surviving are several aunts and uncles and several nieces and nephews whom he was very close and enjoyed spending time with. Ed also leaves behind so many friends, too many of which to list whom he loved dearly.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents.
Friends will be received on Wednesday-June 23, 2021 from 2 P.M. until 7 P.M. the hour of a funeral service in the Warco-Falvo Funeral Home, Inc., Wilson at East Katherine Ave., Washington, S. Timothy Warco, Supervisor/Director, Susan Falvo Warco, Director, S. Timothy Warco II, Director. Burial will be private.
