Frances Rucki Dziacek

Frances Rucki Dziacek, 96 of Washington formerly of Canonsburg died Saturday-July 18, 2015 at 3:25 a.m. at the Washington Hospital after a brief illness. She was born May 24, 1919 in Canonsburg the daughter of the late Peter and Cecelia Rucki. Mrs. Dziacek was the owner and operator of Rucki’s Tavern along with her family in Canonsburg for many years. She was a member of St. Genevieve Church in Canonsburg. She loved to bake and cook and loved being a homemaker. Mrs. Dziacek love spending time with her family and especially enjoyed the time she spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In September of 1947 she married Charles Dziacek who died September 6, 1996.  Surviving is her daughter; Carol (John) Bernard of Washington, a brother; Pete (Cathy) Rucki of Canonsburg, a sister; Helen Dybell of Canonsburg, grandchildren; Jamie (Chris) Knighton of Louisiana, & John (Tracey) Bernard of Robinson, great grandchildren; Jacob & Samantha Bernard, Eli, Jase, Kaitlyn & Kali Knighton. Several nieces & nephews also survive. 

Mrs. Dziacek was preceded in death by a brother; Richard Rucki.    

Friends will be received on Tuesday-July 21, 2015 from 3:00p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in the Warco-Falvo Funeral Home, Inc. Wilson at E. KatherineAvenues, Washington, S. Timothy Warco, supervisor/director, Susan Falvo Warco, director, S. Timothy Warco II, director. A blessing service will be held on Wednesday-July 22, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home with the Rev. Don Chortos officiating. Burial will follow in St Patrick Cemetery, Canonsburg. Memorial contributions maybe made to the John F.
