William "Bill" Earl Tinkey
/William“Bill” Earl Tinkey, 81 of Canonsburg formerly of Houston died Monday-June 8,2015 at Manor Care, McMurray after a lengthy illness. He was born August 6, 1933 in Houston the son of the late Cyrus Elwood & Amanda Jane Kelly Tinkey. He was a Chartiers Houston High School graduate. He also attended Penn State University for carpentry. Mr. Tinkey was employed as a Master Carpenter. He was a member of the Sons of the American Revolution. He loved working with genealogy and loved to fish and hunt with his family especially with his grandchildren. His family was most important to him.
On February21, 1959 he married Sylvia “Peggy” M. Mounts who survives. All surviving are his children; son, Bill (Donna) Tinkey of South Park, daughter, Wendy Sue (Daniel) O’Kain of Canonsburg, three grandchildren, Travis Tinkey, Amanda Kelley & Jamie Kelley.
Mr. Tinkey was preceded in death by two sisters; Violet Tinkey & Mary Newcomer.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday-June 10, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the Warco-Falvo Funeral Home, Inc. Wilson at E. Katherine Avenues, Washington, S. Timothy Warco, supervisor/director, Susan Falvo Warco, director, S. TimothyWarco II, director. Private burial will follow in Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray Pa.
