Michael Scott Johnson
/Michael Scott Johnson, 66 of Washington formerly of Glassboro, New Jersey & Stuart, Florida died Saturday-May 30, 2015 unexpectedly at his home. Mr. Johnson was born March 31, 1949 in Riverside, New Jersey the son of the late Abe and Gloria Bertrand Johnson. Mr. Johnson loved interaction with people. Everyone he met became a friend. He was an avid bowler being a part of bowling leagues and was an avid sports fan especially of the Chicago Cubs. He enjoyed his many visits to the Washington Senior Citizens Center and was always making new friends. He also enjoyed Rock & Roll music listening to the 50’s era on WJPA radio. Mr. Johnson had a strong will to live. No matter what he faced in life it was never too much for him to overcome and he never complained.
Mr. Johnson was the last of his immediate family. Surviving are his six cousins; Richard (Gretchen) Johns of Murrells Inlet, South Carolina, Roberta (Raymond) Roccon of Harmony, Robert Johns of Washington, Megdalia Figueroa of Puerto Rico, Julie Figueroa of Puerto Rico & Lissett Figueroa of Puerto Rico.
Mr. Johnson was preceded in death by his parents and a cousin; Alex Figueroa.
There will be no public visitation. Entombment will be private. Arrangements are under the direction of the Warco-Falvo Funeral Home, Inc. Wilson at E. Katherine Avenue, Washington, S. Timothy Warco, supervisor/director, Susan Falvo Warco, director, S. Timothy Warco II, director.
