Walter J. "Jack" Kelley

Walter J. “Jack” Kelley, 82 of Washington died Monday-June 8, 2015.  He was born March 22, 1933 in Washington the son of the late Jackson Prigg & Mary Christena Krugle Kelley.  Mr. Kelley was employed at Jessop Steel as a pipe fitter for many years until his retirement.  He was a graduate of Immaculate Conception High School.  He enjoyed crossword puzzles, nature, building things and could fix almost anything.  Mr. Kelley was a member of the Arms Club and the American Legion Edwin Scott Linton Post #175.  He served in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War receiving the Navy Occupation Service Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Korean Service Medal with 3 Bronze Stars, the Good Conduct Medal and the United Nations Service Medal. 

Mr. Kelley was formerly married to Janice Estep Kelley Frabell who is deceased.  Surviving are two daughters; Tricia Kelley (David) of Pittsburgh & Kris (Jim) Krivanek of Washington, two grandchildren; Jack & Matthew Krivanek. Several nieces & nephews also survive. 

Mr. Kelley was preceded in death by 2 infant brothers; James Robert Kelley & Jack Edward Kelley, 3 sisters; Mary Jane Elizabeth Julos, Helen Joy Lazek & Mildred Rose Kelley.

Friends will be received on Thursday-June 11, 2015 from 2:00- 4:00 p.m. & 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. in the Warco-Falvo Funeral Home, Inc. Wilsonat E. Katherine Avenues, Washington, S. Timothy Warco, supervisor/director, Susan Falvo Warco, director, S. Timothy Warco II, director.  A funeral service will be held on Friday-June12, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Rick Bruckner officiating.
