Gloria Cancelmi Graff

Gloria Cancelmi Graff, 91 of Washington died Sunday-January 17, 2016 at the Standish Personal Care Home. She was born August 11, 1924 in Washington the daughter of the late Vincent and Linda Palli Cancelmi.  Mrs. Graff was a graduate of Washington High School.  She was a lifelong member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church where she was also a member of the Catholic Daughters and the Christian Mothers of the church.  She was also a member of ISDA.  Mrs. Graff was a very warm, loving & caring person.  She always had a smile on her face and loved interacting with her friends especially those of the clubs she belonged to.  No one was ever a stranger to Mrs. Graff.  She certainly loved people.  She loved being with her family especially her grandchildren on birthdays and holidays.  She enjoyed baking and cooking to the fullest. 

On June 27, 1946 she married Stephen J. Graff who died January 8, 1986.  Surviving are her sons; Stephen J. “Steve” (Meredith) Graff of Washington & Vincent F. Graff, 4 grandchildren; Lauren (Chris) Leeper of Washington, Christopher Graff of Washington, Christina Tarbuck of Washington & Brandon Tarbuck of Washington, 2 great grandchildren; Mason Graff & Ryan Leeper. Several nieces & nephews also survive. 

Mrs. Graff was preceded in death by a daughter; Mary Lynn Tarbuck, a sister; Matilda Cancelmi and 2 brothers; Guy Cancelmi & Vincent Francis Cancelmi.  

Friends will be received on Thursday-January 21, 2016 from 2:00 - 5:00 p.m. and 6:30 - 9:00 p.m. in the Warco-Falvo Funeral Home, Inc. Wilson at E. Katherine Avenue, Washington , S. Timothy Warco, supervisor/director, Susan Falvo Warco, director, S. Timothy Warco II, director.  A prayer service will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Friday-January 22, 2016 in the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in the Immaculate Conception Church.  Burial will follow in the Immaculate Conception Church Cemetery.  The Christian Mothers and the Catholic Daughters of the Immaculate Conception Church will recite the rosary at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday in the funeral home.  Online condolences may be expressed at www.WarcoFalvoFuneralHome.com.
