“A Mother to All”

Nancy L. Stevens, 67 of Washington died Tuesday-April 26, 2016 in her home.  She was born September 6, 1948 in Washington Pa. the daughter of the late George E. and Grace M. Rogers Longstreath.  Mrs.Stevens graduated from Washington High School. She was employed at Brockway Glass for several years and later went on to work at AT&T from where she retired. Mrs. Stevens enjoyed reading, going to the casino and attending mystery dinner theaters.  She loved spending time with her family especially the time she spent with her grandchildren.  She was “A Mother to All”.

Surviving is one son; J.R. (Christina) Stevens of Michigan, one daughter; Amy (Tim) Plum of Virginia, one brother; George“Skeeter” Longstreath of California, six grandchildren; Chris, Mike, Corvonta, Christian, Hannah and Daniel.

In addition to her mother and father, Mrs. Stevens was preceded in death by her husband; Merle L. Stevens Jr.

Friends will be received on Monday-May 2, 2016 from 11 A.M. until 1 P.M. the hour of a funeral service in the Warco-Falvo Funeral Home, Inc., Wilson at East Katherine Ave. Washington, S. Timothy Warco, Supervisor/Director, Susan Falvo Warco, Director, S. Timothy Warco II, Director.  Pastor J.R. Stevens will officiate.  Interment will follow in Claysville Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Jefferson Ave. United Methodist Church, 160 Jefferson Ave. Washington Pa. 15301 for the church spaghetti dinner fund.  Online condolences may be expressed at www.WarcoFalvoFuneralHome.com
