Jeannette Dixon Ross, 62 of Washington died Wednesday-April 27, 2016 at the Washington Hospital Emergency Room following a lengthy illness. She was born December 15, 1953 in Washington the daughter of the late Donald E. and Gertrude M. Snowden Asbury Sr. Mrs. Ross was a homemaker. She enjoyed playing bingo, cooking, baking and fishing. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by her entire family, friends and her loyal companion dog “Roscoe”. Mrs. Ross published a book entitled “God & Me”. She was a member of the Apostolic Christian Temple.
In 1987 she married Leonard Ross who died November 15, 2014. Surviving are her children; Sons; Raymond (Aurora) Asbury of Washington & Sherman (Donna) Brown of Washington, Daughter; Anissa (Milton) Asbury of Washington, Brothers; Donald Asbury Jr. of Louisville, Kentucky & Charles Asbury of Canonsburg, 7 grandchildren; Antonio Kramer, Tiffany Brown, Alexis Barnett, Alaysia Thompson, Darion “Freddie” Thompson, Tyler Brown & Anthony Brown, 1 great granddaughter; Lynsey Brown, an Aunt; Mildred Asbury of Pittsburgh along with several cousins, nieces & nephews.
Mrs. Ross was preceded in death by 2 Brothers; Jerome Asbury Sr. & Raymond Asbury, a Sister; Elnora Asbury.
Friends will be received on Tuesday-May 3, 2016 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. & 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. in the Warco-Falvo Funeral Home, Inc. Wilson at E. Katherine Avenues, Washington, S. Timothy Warco, supervisor/director,Susan Falvo Warco, director, S. Timothy Warco II, director. Additional visitation will be held on Wednesday- May 4, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the Apostolic Christian Temple, 164 W. Wylie Avenue, Washington. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. at the Apostolic Christian Temple with Pastor Myron Jones officiating. Interment will follow in Washington Cemetery.
