Wanda L. O'Korn

Wanda L. O’Korn, 63 of Washington formerly of Bridgeville died Tuesday-September 29, 2015 at the Washington Hospital after a lengthy illness. She was born October 21, 1951 in Fort Lee, Virginia the daughter of the late Frank William & Katherine Alice Longstreth Wilbert. Mrs. O’Korn was employed at McGraw Edison from 1969 -1992. From 1992 - 2013 she was employed for Washington County Children & Youth until her retirement. She was a 1969 graduate of Canon McMillan High School & a 2000 graduate of Duquesne University graduating Summa Cum Laude with a BS degree in accounting. Mrs. O’Korn loved spending time with her family along with watching her quadruplet niece & nephews and their daily activities.

On March 24, 1973 she married Richard “Sam” O’Korn who survives. Also surviving are two sons; Brian O’Korn of Pittsburgh & Douglas O’Korn of Bridgeville, one brother; Frank (Jan) Wilbert of McMurray, a sister; Kathy (Bob) Ross of Canonsburg, a brother in law; Louis & Audrey O’Korn of Columbus, Ohio, along with several nephews and a niece. 

Friends will be received on Friday-October 2, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in the Warco-Falvo Funeral Home, Inc. Wilson at E. Katherine Avenues, Washington, S. Timothy Warco, supervisor/director, Susan Falvo Warco, director, S.
