Helen Louise Naylor Bizzack

Helen Louise Naylor Bizzack passed away on Wednesday, March 26, 2025 in McMurray Hills Manor Skilled Nursing Facility with her daughter, Crystal and her daughter-in-law, Maryellen at her side.  Helen was a kind and beautiful soul, dearly loved by everyone who knew her including the nursing staff at McMurray Hills.  She was the last of her immediate family.  Born on January 10, 1933, Helen was 92 years old.  She was Roman Catholic.

Helen graduated from Washington High School.  She received an Associate Degree from Penn Commercial College.  Helen was an artist. She loved to make detailed ceramic dolls, paint portraits, and sew.  Helen made all the clothes for the dolls that she created.  She also loved sculpturing and focusing on detailed and beautiful little fairies.

As a young woman, she began working at Hazel Atlas Glass Factory in Washington PA.  She also worked part time for the Singer Sewing Company in the Washington Mall.  Helen retired from Drakenfeld Colors as payroll manager in 1985.

On April 25,1952, Helen married Donald Matthew Bizzack in Immaculate Conception Church.  Mr. Bizzack passed away with Helen by his side on September 24, 2020.  They were married for 68 years. 

Helen is survived by her daughter, Crystal Bizzack Fidazzo of North Strabane; her son, John Bizzack and his wife Maryellen of South Fayette; three grandchildren, Matthew (Lara) Bizzack of South Fayette, Lauren (Ryan) Costello of Ross Township, and Dustin (Brittany) Fidazzo of Washington.

She was a cherished “GiGi” to 8 great grandbabies, Luke and Clare Bizzack, Kendall, Audrina, and Monroe Costello, Delilah, Blaire, and Roman Fidazzo. She is also survived by a beloved cousin, Margaret Howard; two nieces, Cindy Powell (Charlie Pettit) and Brenda (Norman) Baker and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, Helen was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Alice Huffine Naylor; two brothers, Charles Jr. “Sonny” and John, who was killed in action during the Korean War, and two sisters, Mary Collett and Dolores Greer.

Friends will be received on Monday, March 31, 2025, from 2 - 4 and 6 - 9 P.M. in the Warco-Falvo Funeral Home, Inc., Wilson at E. Katherine Ave., Washington, S. Timothy Warco, Owner/Supervisor, S. Timothy Warco II, Director, Holly Renay Warco, Director.  A blessing service will be held on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at 11:00 A.M. in the funeral home with the Rev.
