Charles D. Lytton

December 5, 1958 - August 5, 2024

Charles D. “Chip” Lytton, 65, of Claysville, Pennsylvania, passed away on Monday, August 5, 2024, in Washington Hospital.  He was born December 5, 1958, in Washington, Pennsylvania, a son of the late Lawrence E. Lytton, Sr. and the late Frances C. Lytton.  Chip was a graduate of Trinity High School, worked as a General Manager for International Gasket & Shim for 25 years, followed by 10 years at his family's company, Washington Metal Drilling, and before retiring in May 2024, offered up his diverse skill set as a Plumbing Pro at Lowe's.

Chip was preceded in death by his brother, James A. Lytton.  Surviving are two brothers, Lawrence E. Lytton, Jr., and Kenneth C. Lytton, and four sisters, Virginia M. Mersky, Bonnie L. Mansoura, Lois A. Gregg, and Karen A. Roth, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He had a wonderful sense of humor and a huge heart - always willing to help not only his family but practically everyone he met.  Chip loved classical music (his favorite being Andrea Bocelli), was a fan of old cowboy/western movies, and could cook a mean steak.  He loved living in his country home where he enjoyed waking up at the crack of dawn with a hot cup of coffee.  We are all deeply saddened but have comfort in knowing it’s all part of God's plan.

All funeral arrangements are private and under the direction of the Warco-Falvo Funeral Home, Inc., Wilson at E. Katherine Ave., Washington, S. Timothy Warco, Owner/Supervisor, S.
