Pamela Sue Walton Romanakis

Pamela Sue Walton Romanakis, 65, of Washington, PA passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, following a brief illness.  She was born June 10, 1959, in Washington, PA, a daughter of the late Jack and Patricia Warwick Walton.  Pam was a 1978 graduate of Oak Glen High School in New Cumberland, WV.  She was a homemaker and was Christian by faith.  Pam was a former member of the Red Hat Society and also volunteered with the Suicide Prevention Hotline.  She enjoyed crafts, astrology, gems, and was an avid reader.  Pam loved her cats, especially her cat, “Gypsie”.  She also loved music and movies, especially horror films.  Most of all, Pam enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandson whom she adored.  She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Surviving is a son, Shawn Kostrej of Washington, PA; three sisters, Cindy (Patrick) Dishong of Logan, OH, Kathy (John) Woods of Washington, PA, and Terry (Dave Hawk) Lemley of Washington, PA; a grandson, Mason; four nephews, Dakota, Douglas, Joey, and Jimmy, and four nieces, Roxanne, Courtney, Elizabeth, and Samantha.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Graves.
