Floyd W. Watson, Jr.
/Floyd W. Watson, Jr., “Tweety Byrd”, 67 of Washington, passed away in the Washington Hospital on Tuesday, January 23, 2024, at 11:06 P.M. following a lengthy illness.
He was born February 7, 1956, in Washington, PA, a son of the late Floyd W. Watson, Sr. and the late Thelma Chandler Watson Davis.
He loved to spend time with his Family and FRIENDS. “Down and Dirty” loved to party and have a good time, and in the last six years he mostly enjoyed spending time with his granddaughter and being a BIG part of her life. Floyd was employed for many years at the Harold D. Burch Mortuary in Washington. He took great pride in his job at the funeral home.
Surviving is his companion of 35 years, Patricia Patterson of Washington; one daughter, Peggy Marie Watson of Washington; one son, Bryan Floyd Watson of Washington; three grandsons, Gavin Watson, Isaiah Watson, and Cash Watson, and one granddaughter, Dreya Ann Watson. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and tons of friends also survive.
In addition to his parents, deceased are three sisters, Julia Mae, JoAnn Reed, and Sherry Watson.
Friends will be received on Friday, January 26, 2024, from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 P.M. in the Warco-Falvo Funeral Home, Inc., Wilson at E. Katherine Ave., Washington, S. Timothy Warco, Owner/Supervisor, S. Timothy Warco II, Director, Holly Renay Warco, Director, Park N. Crosier, Director. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2024, at 2:00 P.M. in the funeral home with the Rev.
