Francesco Secreti
/Francesco “Frank” Secreti, age 68, of Washington, PA, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his cherished family on Thursday, December 14, 2023. Frank was born on September 9, 1955, in San Giovanni in Fiore, Italy, to Benedetto and Antonietta Marasco Secreti who survive.
Frank immigrated to America, with his family, when he was 12 years old. He was a graduate of Canon McMillan High School. Frank was always a hard worker and was a long-time employee of the Washington County Correctional Facility, retiring after over 33 years of service as a Corrections Officer.
His most treasured things in life were spending time with his family and grandchildren. During retirement, you could find Frank enjoying time with his family, watching his grandchildren, or landscaping with his son, Jordan. He was always so proud of his kids and grandchildren. Frank was such a caring man and was always lending a helping hand to family or anyone in need. He was only a phone call away to anyone that may need him. Frank loved to offer his “words of wisdom” and certainly provided a good laugh to everyone around him, even in his final days of life.
Frank is survived and will be greatly missed by his wife of 33 years, Kelly Trusler Secreti; children, Tiffany (Nathan) Nickolas, Jordan (Ashley) Secreti, and Spencer (John) Murphy. He was the loving “Pap” of Cole and Ava Nickolas, Luca Secreti, and Paige and Hudson Murphy. He is also survived by his parents; siblings, Salvatore Secreti, Catherine (Jim) Keener, Joann (Carmen) Calabro, and Angela (Ken) Keefer, as well as many nieces and nephews.
