Lawrence C. Kinskey
/Lawrence C. “Larry” Kinskey, 88 of Washington passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 18, 2023 in Transitions Healthcare, Washington. He was born July 8, 1934 in Washington, PA the son of the late Lawrence S. and Evelyn Morgan Kinskey. Mr. Kinskey was a graduate of Immaculate Conception High School and John Carroll University. He served in the United States Army for two years during the Korean War. Mr. Kinskey was employed for over ten years at Fairmont Supply and he also sold cars in the evening at his Father’s business, “Charlie’s Service Station”. He later became employed as a business education teacher at Chartiers Valley High School where he worked for many years up until his retirement. Mr. Kinskey was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church, St. James Parish. He enjoyed water skiing in his younger years and was involved alongside his wife with A.R.C. Mr. Kinskey will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved him.
On January 31, 1959 he married Jeannine Wozniak who died December 2, 2022.
Surviving are two sons, Robert (Betsy) Kinskey of Norfolk, Virginia and Larry Bill Kinskey of Washington; a daughter, Beth Ann Kinskey of Washington; a brother, Jerry (Janet) Kinskey of Columbus, Ohio; a sister, Lorraine Wilson of Washington and a sister-in-law, Kathy Wozniak of Washington. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
In addition to his parents and wife, Mr. Kinskey was preceded in death by a son, Ronald M. Kinskey and by a brother, Thomas Kinskey.
