Betty Cargnello
/Betty “Nunnie” Cargnello, 94 of Houston, PA passed away peacefully on Thursday-November 11, 2021 in her home with her family at her side. She was born April 1, 1927 in Morgantown, West Virginia the daughter of the late Benjamin and Constance Mazza Andy. Mrs. Cargnello was a homemaker and a member of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Church. She enjoyed cooking, baking, sewing, traveling, camping, playing cards, square dancing and spending time with friends and family. Her family meant everything to her. They were her life. She will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved her.
On July 29, 1950 she married Albert M. Cargnello who died May 18, 2010. Surviving is a son, Albert L. Cargnello of Washington, PA; two daughters, Doreen A. (Arthur) Nall of Houston, Texas and Delaine (John) Giecek of Avella, PA; six grandchildren, John David Rohrbacher, Jennifer Brewer, Jessica Yeates, Ashley (Andrew) Simmons, Erica (Jeff) Monoskey and Ryan (Val) Cargnello; ten great-grandchildren, Addison, Heidi, Eddie, Emma, Track, Ellie, Kellan, Peyton, Eva and Josie. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Cargnello was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
