Mildred "Joann" Balsinger

Mildred “Joann” Balsinger, 77 of McMurray died Tuesday-May 15, 2018.  She was born May 1, 1941 in Washington Pa. the daughter of the late Sam and Grace Britt Snedeker.  Mrs. Balsinger graduated from Fort Cherry High School in 1960.  She was employed for 12 years as a Nurse’s Aide at Mayview State Hospital up until its closing.  Mrs. Balsinger was a member of Friendship Community Church in Washington where she was baptized. 

On February 22, 1962 she married William H. Balsinger who survives.  Also surviving is a son; Robert (Sue) Balsinger of South Park, Pa., three brothers; William (Sharon) Snedeker, Frank (Diane) Snedeker and Andrew (Bonnie) Snedeker and a sister; Judy (Danny) Heck.  Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Friends will be received on Sunday-May 20, 2018 from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 P.M. in the Warco-Falvo Funeral Home, Inc., Wilson at East Katherine Ave. Washington, S. Timothy Warco, Supervisor/Director, Susan Falvo Warco, Director, S. Timothy Warco II, Director.  A funeral service will be held on Monday-May 21, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. in the funeral home with Pastor Rick Bruckner officiating.  Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Prime Time Adult Day Care, 44 Highland Rd.
