Marianne Stiles

Marianne Stiles, 68 of Washington died Thursday-March 22, 2018 at 10:40 A.M. in the Washington Hospital following a brief illness. She was born September 30, 1949 in Pittsburgh Pa. the daughter of the late William and Rita Bush Smithdas. Mrs. Stiles graduated from South Hills High School in 1967. She was the co-owner/operator of Stiles Florist in Washington for 38 years where she worked alongside her late husband; Joe. The flower shop was her life where she worked hard every day to please her customers with beautiful floral arrangements for whatever the occasion may have been. She also enjoyed her dogs; especially her favorite Chihuahua; “Spot”.
Her husband; Joseph J. “Joe” Stiles Jr. died in August of 2011. The couple had been married for almost 40 years.
Surviving is a step-son; Jude (Janice) Stiles of Oakdale, Pa., two step-daughters; Lisa Rugh of McKees Rocks and Diane Stiles, one brother; David (Kathleen) Smithdas of Penn Hills, one sister; Eileen Rudolph of Florida, six step-grandchildren, three step-great-great grandchildren, and two nephews also survive.
In addition to her father, mother and husband, Mrs. Stiles was preceded in death by a brother; William Smithdas.
