John G. Tucker III

John G. Tucker III, 91 of Washington died Monday-March 19, 2018 in Transitions Healthcare, Washington.  He was born May 14, 1926 in Washington Pa. the son of John G. Tucker Jr. and Anne I. Palko Tucker.  Mr. Tucker graduated from Immaculate Conception High School in 1943 and from Washington and Jefferson College in 1948.  He served in the United States Navy as a Seaman First Class during World War II.  Mr. Tucker was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church.  He first worked at Procter and Gamble as a salesman and later went on to work at Rockwell International.  Mr. Tucker finally became employed at Brockway Glass # 7 for fifteen years from where he retired.

Mr. Tucker is survived by several cousins.

At the request of the deceased there will be no public visitation.  Friends and family are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday-March 22, 2018 in the Immaculate Conception Church, 119 W. Chestnut St. Washington.  Private burial will follow in St. Patrick Cemetery.  Those wishing to make memorial contributions may do so to the Immaculate Conception Church.  Arrangements are under the direction of the Warco-Falvo Funeral Home, Inc., Wilson at East Katherine Ave., Washington, S.
