Velma Christine Bradbury, 83 of Claysville died Tuesday-September 26, 2017 in her home. She was born December 19, 1933 in Hickory the daughter of the late Samuel Ollie & Velma Aileen Byers Pattison. Mrs. Bradbury was a member of Dutch Fork Christian Church. She enjoyed her life as a homemaker and especially her fun times with her family and grandchildren.

On October 2, 1954 she married Lucius J. (Jack) Bradbury who died November 9, 2004. Surviving are 2 sons; James “Jim” O. (Cindy Beddow) Bradbury, & Ralph W. (Pam) Libicer, 2 brothers; Robert (Cheryl) Pattison & Gerald (Dorothy) Pattison, 2 sisters; Lois (Eli) Dille & Dorothy Underwood, 2 grandchildren; Summer (Jeff) Hayes & James O. (Heather) Bradbury II, 9 great-grandchildren; Faith Noel Amos, Tristan-James Bradbury, Gavin Amos, Serenity Bradbury, Dominic Amos, Destiny Bradbury, Havanna Hayes, Cassie Hayes & Hunter Hayes, 1 great-great-grandson; Landon Hayes.

In addition to her mother, father and her husband, Mrs. Bradbury was preceded in death by 2 brothers; Samuel & Glenn Pattison & 2 sisters; Ellen Bentrem & Patty Maxwell.

Friends will be received on Friday-September 29, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in the Warco-Falvo Funeral Home, Inc., Wilson at E. Katherine Avenues, Washington, S. Timothy Warco, supervisor/director, Susan Falvo Warco, director, S. Timothy Warco II, director. A funeral service will be held on Saturday- September 30, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Bruce Graff officiating. Burial will follow in Independence Cemetery, Avella, Pa.
