Perry S. Mansberry
/Perry S. Mansberry, 64 of Prosperity died Monday-October 2, 2017 at his home. He was born June 16, 1953 in Washington the son of the late Paul R. & Leslie G. Clapsaddle Mansberry. Mr. Mansbery served in the United States Army from 1972 until 1974 during the Vietnam Era as a military policeman and detective receiving the National Defense Service Medal and the Sharpshooter Badge M-16. Mr. Mansberry was self-employed working in construction. He was a member of the Trinity Bible Fellowship Church of Washington. He enjoyed woodworking, building, tinkering, working with his flowers but most of all sitting on his porch on his property.
On October 26, 1975 he married Shelva M. Mitchell Mansberry who died August 19, 2013. Surviving is a son; Robert P. Mansberry of Perryopolis, 3 daughters; Laura G. Zoeller of Prosperity, Rebecca N. Loulli of Washington, & Melissa A. Mansberry of Canonsburg, 2 sisters; Paula J. (Peyton) Justice III of Washington & Jessie M. Anderson of Prosperity, 11 grandchildren along with several nieces & nephews also survive.
In addition to his mother, father and wife, Mr. Mansberry was preceded in death by a sister; Paula Grace Mansberry and by 2 brothers; Leslie Everette Mansberry and Raymond Bruce Mansberry.
At the request of the deceased there will be no public visitation. Burial will be private. A memorial service will be held at a later date to be announced.
