Dorothy Ann Weaver, 84 of Washington died Thursday-May 11, 2017 at the Donnell House. She was born April 1, 1933 in Muse the daughter of the late Anthony & Susan Bianchi Abruzzi. Mrs. Weaver was employed at Tiger Valley (Brockway Glass) until her retirement. She also loved being a homemaker. She was a member of the Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Church. She was a graduate of Cecil High School and Penn Commercial. Mrs. Weaver enjoyed reading, sewing, gardening, spending quality time with her family and also enjoyed dancing with her son-in-law. She was a member of the Canonsburg Italian-American Association.

On September 12, 1959 she married Kenneth L. Weaver who died October 6, 2001. Surviving is a son; Kenneth L. (Alicia) Weaver of Leominster, Mass., a daughter; Kathy A. (Gregory) Tarr of Canonsburg, 2 sisters; Dolores Abruzzi & Nanetta Abruzzi both of Muse, 6 grandchildren: Matthew, Arianna, Anthony, & Mark Weaver, Kamden & Kayley Demarest. Numerous nieces & nephews also survive.

Mrs. Weaver was preceded in death by a grandson; Andrew Weaver, 5 brothers; Julius, Cordi, Louis, James & Anthony Abruzzi, 3 sisters; Nancy Lesjak, Ruthann Chraska-Ovesen & Mary Murdy.

Friends will be received on Monday-May 15, 2017 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. & 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. in the Warco-Falvo Funeral Home, Inc. Wilson at E. Katherine Avenues, Washington, S. Timothy Warco, supervisor/director, Susan Falvo Warco, director, S. Timothy Warco II, director. A prayer service will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday-May 16, 2017 in the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in the Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Church, Meadowlands with Father Carmen D’Amico as celebrant.
