George Daniel Micik Sr., 62 of Washington died Tuesday-February 21, 2017. He was born January 26, 1955 in Pittsburgh the son of the late George Nicholas & Helen Marie Toth Micik. Mr. Micik was employed as an Insulator for Pennsylvania Transformer for many years. He was a graduate of Chartiers Houston High School and attended Allegheny Community College. Mr. Micik enjoyed golfing, bowling and playing pool. He was a member of the Pulaski Club, B.P.O.E. Elks Lodge # 776 and the American Legion Edwin Scott Linton Post #175. He also enjoyed spending time with his entire family especially the great times spent with his grandchildren.

On August 27, 1985 he married Debbie Sue Strike Micik who survives. Also surviving are his children: stepson; Joshua Aaron Strike, daughter; Helen Marie Weight & son; George Daniel (Nicole Marie) Micik Jr., a sister; Georgette (Anthony) Insana, four grandchildren; Vincent Jay Michael Weight, Meloney Eilene Micik, Mason Dominick Micik & Olivia Lynn Micik.

Friends will be received on Friday-February 24, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the Warco-Falvo Funeral Home, Inc. Wilson at East Katherine Avenue, Washington, S. Timothy Warco, supervisor/director, Susan Falvo Warco, director, S. Timothy Warco II, director. A service will be held at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home on Friday. Burial will be private.
