Elvira A. "Vera" Pallesco Bieda

Elvira A. “Vera” Pallesco Bieda, 87 of Washington died Friday-July 31, 2015 at the Washington Hospital after a brief illness. She was born July 28, 1928 in Washington the daughter of the late Marco & Lucinda Don Francisco Pallesco. Mrs. Bieda was employed for many years at Brockway Glass and later became a caregiver to many people at their private homes. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church and was a graduate of Washington High School. Mrs. Bieda enjoyed crafts, needlework, crocheting & baking. She enjoyed being a homemaker. 

On September 6, 1954 she married Carl J. Bieda who died January 18, 1979. Surviving are several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, close friends, caring & loving neighbors and special caregivers. Also surviving is a sister-in-law, Sally Pallesco.  Mrs. Bieda was a caring and giving woman and will be sadly missed by many. 

In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Bieda was preceded in death by a brother; Ralph V. Pallesco, four sisters; Mary Desmond, Geraldine L. Sorice, Lucy Moore & Virginia Tocci. Two other sisters also died in infancy.

At the request of the deceased there will be no public visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday-August 4, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in the Immaculate Conception Church, 119 W. Chestnut St. Washington. The public is welcome to attend. Burial will follow in the Washington Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Warco-Falvo Funeral Home, Inc., Wilson at East Katherine Ave. Washington, S.
