Helen W. Lusk
/Helen W. Lusk, 97 of Washington formerly of Eighty Four died Saturday- April 18, 2015 at Southmont of the Presbyterian Sr. Care in Washington. She was born July 2, 1917 in Canonsburg the daughter of the late William Giffin and Edna Crawford Wilson. Mrs. Lusk was a member of Pigeon Creek Presbyterian Church where she was also a former Elder. She was a 1934 graduate of East Washington High School. Mrs. Lusk was employed as a Dental Assistant for Dr. Herve Manon, was employed at McKinley’s Jewelry Store and also worked as a secretary at Asphalt Driveway Company in Bethel Park until her retirement. She was a past 50 year member of North Strabane Grangeand also of State and National Grange. Mrs. Lusk was a devoted & loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
On August 17, 1939 she married J. Howard Lusk who died May27, 1997. Surviving is a son; Rev. William E. (Karen) Lusk of Bentleyville and a daughter; Carol (John) Lucas of Columbia, South Carolina, six grandchildren; Michelle (Rodger) Weyant, Suzanne(Steve) Nash, William J. (Darcie) Lusk, Stephen (Angel) Lusk, Amy (Ben) Wise and Daniel (Brooke) Lusk, 18 great grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews also survive.
Mrs. Lusk was preceded in death by two brothers; William Charles Wilson & A. Kenneth Wilson, two sisters; Esther Lindsay & Dorothy Jean Wilson.
Friends will be received on Wednesday -April 22, 2015 from 2:00- 4:00 and 6:00 - 8:00 pm. in the Warco-Falvo Funeral Home, Inc. Wilson at E. Katherine Avenues, Washington, S. Timothy Warco, supervisor/director, Susan Falvo Warco, director, S. Timothy Warco II, director. A funeral service will be held on Thursday-April 23, 2015 at 11:00 am. in the funeral home with the Rev. Eric Powell officiating. Interment will followin Fairview Cemetery.
