Ann Mandich

September 23, 1921 - February 6, 2015

Ann Mandich 93 of Washington, the last of ten siblings, went to be with her heavenly father on Friday-February 6, 2015. She was born September 23, 1921 in Washington the daughter of Henry and Angeline Gizzo Presto. Mrs. Mandich was a member of the Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church and the Alpine Club. She and her son Nick owned Ann's Lounge which later was renamed Trophy Lounge. Over the span of her life she owned a dry cleaning business and was a cook at the Immaculate Conception Parish and Alpine Club. She was an avid bowler, loved dancing and was passionate about sports when it came to Pitt and the Steelers. Most of all she loved to cook for her family and friends. In 1941 she married Nick Mandich who died in September of 1958. Surviving are a son; Nick (Tammy) Mandich, three granddaughters; Amy (Gary) Swart, Lynn Wade and Mercedes Mandich, four grandsons; Shawn Evans, Travis Mandich, Tyler Mandich and Tanner Mandich. Ten great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive. Deceased are a son; David Mandich, three brothers; James Presto, Mike and Frank Brach, six sisters; Frances Charmely, Louise Magnetta, Antionette Levato, Evelyn Charmely, Mary Bashur and Fredricka Couts. Friends will be received on Monday-February 9, 2015 from 2 P.M. until 8 P.M. in the Warco-Falvo Funeral Home, Inc., Wilson at East Katherine Ave. Washington, S. Timothy Warco, Supervisor/Director, Susan Falvo Warco, Director, S. Timothy Warco II, Director. A prayer service will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday-February 10, 2015 in the funeral home.
