Larry Dever
/Larry Dever, 66 of Washington died Thursday-October 20, 2016 in Allegheny General Hospital following a brief illness. He was born April 15, 1950 in Washington Pa. the son of Donald G. Dever of Washington and the late Marion Stuck Dever. He graduated from Trinity High School in 1968. Mr. Dever was employed in the maintenance department at the Meadows Racetrack on the horse racing side. He also was employed for a time at the Observer-Reporter. Mr. Dever was a former member of the Fairhill Manor Christian Church and was a former member of the Independent Club. He liked to paint and loved to go camping but most of all, he loved his grandchildren.
Mr. Dever is survived by his wife; Vicki Hughes Dever, two daughters; Tracy Baldwin and Michelle (Dave) Stahl, two sons; Rick (Michelle) Irey and Michael Dever, one brother; Randy (Robin) Dever, three sisters; Linda (Gary) Nichols, Donna (Robert) Bakaitis and Nancy Walker. Eleven grandchildren also survive.
Friends will be received on Saturday-October 29, 2016 from 9 A.M. until 10 A.M. the hour of a memorial service in the Warco-Falvo Funeral Home, Inc., Wilson at East Katherine Ave. Washington, S. Timothy Warco, Supervisor/Director, Susan Falvo Warco, Director, S. Timothy Warco II, Director. Pastor Joe DiDonato will officiate. Interment will be private.
