Payton Ross Barclay

Payton Ross Barclay, 66 of Washington passed away Monday-March 7, 2016 at 12:05 A.M. in the Washington Hospital. He was born March 23, 1949 in Pittsburgh Pa. the son of the late Payton E. and Mary M. Lewis Barclay. Mr. Barclay graduated from Washington High School. He was a member of Nazareth Baptist Church and a former member of the church choir. Mr. Barclay was employed by Precision Marshall as a steel worker for many years up until his retirement. He served in the United States Navy. Mr. Barclay enjoyed spending time with his family especially the time spent with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife; Karen Patricia Barclay of Washington, his step-mother; Patricia Barclay of Pittsburgh, two daughters; Brandi N. Barclay of Washington and Paige A. Barclay of Washington, one brother; Broderick L. (Susan) Barclay of Moon Twp., four sisters; Germicka Barclay of the state of California, Thanicia Barclay, Tracey (Charles) Barclay Bryant and Beverly Hickman all of Pittsburgh, two grandsons; Takari M. Barclay and Tramayne M. Barclay. A host of nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
In addition to his mother and father, Mr. Barclay was preceded in death by his stepfather; Kenneth H. Davenport.
Friends will be received on Sunday-March 13, 2016 from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 P.M. in the Warco-Falvo Funeral Home, Inc., Wilson at East Katherine Ave. Washington, S. Timothy Warco, Supervisor/Director, Susan Falvo Warco, Director, S. Timothy Warco II, Director. A funeral service will be held on Monday-March 14, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. in the funeral home with the Rev. Linda L. Clemons officiating. Interment will follow at 1:00 P.M. in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville, Pa.
