Edna M. Henry, 100 of Washington formerly of Eighty Four died Friday-April 15, 2016 at 3:45 pm. at Transitions Healthcare, Washington.  She was born August 31, 1915 in Somerset the daughter of the late A.L. and Aldaretta McDonald McCollester.  She was a 1933 graduate of East Washington High School.  Mrs. Henry was employed as a presser at Resnick Cleaners, Penns Cleaners & Fidel Cleaners from where she retired.  Mrs. Henry was very active at the Washington Area Senior Citizens Center. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, making jelly, bowling, playing cards, dart ball and square dancing. 

On November 16, 1946 she married Vance L. Henry who died December 11, 1980.  Surviving is a son; Barry W. Henry (Cheri Randall) of Washington. 

Mrs. Henry was preceded in death by a sister; Mazie M. McCollester. 

Friends will be received on Monday-April 18, 2016 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in the Warco-Falvo Funeral Home, Inc. Wilson at E.Katherine Avenues, Washington, S. Timothy Warco, supervisor/director, Susan Falvo Warco, director, S. Timothy Warco II, director.  A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday-April 19, 2016 in the funeral home with the Rev. Donna Johnson officiating.  Burial will follow in Pigeon Creek Presbyterian Church Cemetery.  Memorial contributions can be made to the Washington Area Senior Citizens Center, 69 W.
