Ernest E. Salada

Ernest E. Salada, 90 of Washington died Thursday-December 10, 2015 at Transitions Health Care, Washington. He was born December 7, 1925 in Washington the son of the late Samuel A. & Veronika Pazuchazucs Salada. Mr. Salada was employed as a mold maker at Tygart Valley Glass Company which later became known as Brockway Glass #7 until his retirement. He was a graduate of Washington High School. He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and the Pulaski Club. Mr. Salada served in the United States Navy during World War II receiving the American Theatre Ribbon and the Victory Medal. Mr. Salada loved to garden and spend time with his family.

On March 7, 1947 he married Rose Collis Salada who survives. Also surviving is a son; Gary D. (Deborah) Salada of Irwin, a daughter; Pamela D. (Richard) Hager of New Hampshire, a sister in law; Mary Salada, 2 grandchildren; Jason Hager & Seth (Allison) Hager, 2 great grandchildren; Lily Rose Hager & Jacob Isaiah Hager all of New Hampshire. Several nieces & nephews also survive. 

Mr. Salada was preceded in death by 3 brothers & 3 sisters. He was the last of his immediate family of 7. 

At the request of the deceased there was no public visitation. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the Warco-Falvo Funeral Home, Inc. Wilson at E. Katherine Ave., Washington, S. Timothy Warco, supervisor/director, Susan Falvo Warco, director, S.
