Joseph E. "Tehi" Teagarden Sr.

Joseph E. “Tehi” Teagarden Sr., 64 of Rolling Meadows, Waynesburg formerly of Clarksville died Monday-August 15, 2016 at the Washington Hospital after a lengthy illness. He was born December 4, 1951 in Waynesburg the son of the late Newton F. & Rose M. Gigliardi Teagarden. Mr. Teagarden was a graduate of Bethlehem Center High School. He was employed as a coalminer in Marianna at the East Bethlehem Mine until his retirement and was an avid sports fan especially of the Pirates.

Mr. Teagarden is survived by his children, daughter; Darlene (Ed Passamonte) Nakutis of Clarksville, sons; Joseph E. (Tina) Teagarden Jr. of Millbrook, Alabama, Scott A. Teagarden of Waynesburg, Jason M. (Nicole) Teagarden of Vestaburg, three brothers; David (Donna) Teagarden of Clarksville, Daniel (Kaye) Teagarden of Jefferson, Robert (Nancy) Teagarden of Clarksville, one sister; Shirley O’Neal of Clarksville, six grandchildren & four great grandchildren along with nieces & nephews also survive.

Mr. Teagarden was preceded in death by a sister; Kathleen Teagarden.

At the request of the deceased there will be no public visitation. Burial will be private. Arrangements are under the direction of the Warco-Falvo Funeral Home, Inc. Wilson at E. Katherine Avenues, Washington, S. Timothy Warco, supervisor/director, Susan Falvo Warco, director, S. Timothy Warco II, director. A memorial service will be held on Saturday-August 20, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Clarksville Missionary Church, Teagarden Homes, G.I. Town Clarksville, Pa.
