Harry A. “Hezzie” Morgan, 89 of Washington died Wednesday-May 25, 2016 at Golden Living Center, Canonsburg following a brief illness.  He was born April 24, 1927 in Washington the son of the late Evan R. & Effie L. Hutchison Morgan. Mr. Morgan attended 5th Ward and Washington High School.  He served in the United States Navy during World War II receiving the Victory World War II Medal and the American Area Medal. Mr. Morgan was employed by Universal Cyclops for 18 years & Pella Window & Door as a Service Manager until his retirement.  He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church for 65 years.  Mr. Morgan was very active in the church.  He was Chairman of the Booster Club, served on the Bazaar committee, worked the fish fries, delivered the meals and drove the Senior Citizen van. He was a member of the Pulaski Club, the Independent Club and the Knights of Columbus Council # 1083, Washington. He also worked with the Pony Baseball World Series.  Mr. Morgan was an avid Steeler, Pirate & Notre Dame fan.    

On March 28, 1951 he married Veronica A. “Ronnie” Manion who survives.  They most recently celebrated 65 years of marriage.

Surviving in addition to his wife are his children; Loretta A. (John) Niemiec of Moundsville, West Virginia, Elaine (Edward) Morascyzk of Washington, Harry A. (Debbie) Morgan Jr. of Virginia Beach, Virginia & Cathy (Ed) Twele of Westminster, Colorado. Brothers & Sisters surviving; Lawrence (Kay) Morgan of Washington, William “Bill” Morgan of Washington,  Joan DePaoli of Washington & Barbara (Dan) Gagich of Washington. Eleven grandchildren;  Rebecca (Michael) Haller, Erin (Adam) Goodykoontz, Jonathan (Amy) Niemiec, Angela (T.J.) Srsic, Kristen (Mark) Lesako, E.J. (Stacey) Morascyzk, Brian (Nikki) Morgan, Gregory Morgan, Victoria (Will) Thompson, Lauren Twele (Josh Vasu) & Meghan Twele.  Thirteen great grandchildren; Elizabeth, William, Annabelle, Juliette, Alex, Audrey, Dante, Dominic, Izzy, Ethan, Emma, Lila & Ava.  Several nieces & nephews also survive.

Mr. Morgan was preceded in death by a daughter; Veronica Jean Morgan.  Seven brothers &sisters also preceded him in death; Gertrude Taylor, Margaret Richmond, John Morgan, Evan Morgan, Rachel Kinkel, Mary Ann Guido & Richard Morgan.     

Friends will be received on Friday-May 27, 2016 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. & 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. in the Warco-Falvo Funeral Home, Inc., Wilson at E. Katherine Avenues, Washington, S. Timothy Warco, supervisor/director, Susan Falvo Warco, director, S. Timothy Warco II, director.  The Knights of Columbus Council #1083 will recite the rosary at 5:30 p.m. on Friday in the funeral home.  A prayer service will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday-May 28, 2016 in the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in the Immaculate Conception Church with the Rev. William P. Feeney as celebrant.  Burial will follow in the Washington Cemetery.  Full military rites will be accorded by the American Legion Edwin Scott Linton Post # 175 and the United States Navy. Memorial contributions can be made to the John F.
