Mary Elizabeth "Betty" Moull Donaldson

Mary Elizabeth “Betty” Moull Donaldson, 95 of Washington died Friday- November 11, 2016 at 6:50 p.m. at the Southmont of Presbyterian Senior Care, Washington. She was born April 17, 1921 in Pittsburgh the daughter of the late William Louis & Hazel Rogers Moull. Mrs. Donaldson was a graduate of Millvale High School. She was a member of the Church of the Covenant where she enjoyed working as a preschool Sunday school teacher and was an active member of the Presbyterian Women. She was a member of Jephthah Chapter, Order No. 73 Order of the Eastern Star where she also served as the Choir Director. In later years she conducted a successful catering business for the Washington community and also worked as a seamstress for many in the area. Mrs. Donaldson was very kind and was known for her love of children, her smile, love of classical music and the opera.

On December 30, 1943 she married Samuel James Donaldson who died June 30, 2007. Surviving are her children; Lleslie Barbara (Paul) Siddle, Scott Lewis (Harriet Anne) Donaldson & Kim (John) Carr, six grandchildren & nine great grandchildren.

Mrs. Donaldson was preceded in death by a brother; Willard Phillip Moull.

There will be no public visitation. Burial will be private and held at the convenience of the family in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies. A memorial service will be held at the Church of the Covenant, 267 E. Beau St. Washington, on Saturday-November 19, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Dr. Stuart D. Broberg officiating. The public is welcome to attend. Arrangements are under the direction of the Warco-Falvo Funeral Home, Inc. Wilson at E. Katherine Avenues, Washington, S. Timothy Warco, supervisor/director, Susan Falvo Warco, director, S. Timothy Warco II, director.
