Norman Ronald Arthur Sr.
/Norman Ronald Arthur Sr., 80 of Amity died Saturday-February 27, 2016 in the Donnell House following a lengthy illness. He was born March 27, 1935 in Pittsburgh Pa. the son of the late Norman I. and Leona R. Abbot Arthur. Mr. Arthur owned and operated “Ron’s Garage” in 84 Pa. for over 30 years. He enjoyed mowing grass, hunting and fishing. Mr. Arthur was a member of the Greater Pittsburgh Area Chapter of the Antique Truck Club of America.
He is survived by two sons; Ron (Beverly) Arthur Jr. and Glen (Lisa) Arthur both of Amity, one daughter; Mary (Chip) Jenkins of Amity, 6 grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Mr. Arthur was preceded in death by his wife; Elizabeth A. Arthur and by his sister; Gayle Snatchko.
Friends will be received on Monday-February 29, 2016 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 P.M. in the Warco-Falvo Funeral Home, Inc., Wilson at East Katherine Ave. Washington, S. Timothy Warco, Supervisor/Director, Susan Falvo Warco, Director, S. Timothy Warco II, Director. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday-March 1, 2016 in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Donnell House, c/o Hospice Care of the Washington Hospital, 155 Wilson Ave. Washington Pa.15301.
