Michael George Coyle
/Michael George Coyle, died unexpectedly on Monday, September 2, 2024, at the age of 53. He was born January 19, 1971, in Washington, PA, a son of Robert and Joanne Kulla Coyle of Washington, PA, who survive. Michael attended John F. Kennedy Catholic Elementary School where he was a faithful altar server at Immaculate Conception Church. He was a 1989 graduate of Washington High School, where he was a proud member of the Prexies football team. Michael continued his education at Gannon University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy. He relocated to Charleston, South Carolina, where he owned and operated Charleston Pediatric Rehabilitation for over 20 years. In addition to loving his work as a pediatric therapist and serving the children of the community, he trained his dogs to be included at his practice as certified therapy dogs. Michael’s greatest joy was spending time with his children hunting, fishing, and watching them play sports. He, along with his brothers, cherished their time together playing hockey, which continued into adult league. Michael was also an avid WWII history buff.
Surviving are his son, Finn, and daughter, Adelaide, along with his former wife, Andrea. He is also survived by his siblings, Rob, Amy (Dave) Bodman of Richmond, Va, along with their children Maggie, Pete, and Brian; Sean (Dana), along with their children George, Seamus, and Henry; Andrew (Christine), along with their children Grace and Meghan.
Michael loved his family deeply, and he will be forever missed.
Friends will be received on Sunday, September 8, 2024, from 3 P.M. until 6 P.M. in the Warco-Falvo Funeral Home, Inc., Wilson at E. Katherine Ave., Washington, S. Timothy Warco, Owner/Supervisor, S. Timothy Warco II, Director, Holly Renay Warco, Director. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, September 9, 2024, in the Immaculate Conception Church, St. James Parish, 119 W. Chestnut Street, Washington, PA with the Rev. Ken White as celebrant. Those wishing to attend the Memorial Mass are asked to please go directly to the church on Monday. Interment will be private.
