Treonna Unique Washington

Treonna Unique Washington, a lifelong community resident of both Beaver Falls and Washington Pa, tragically lost her life as a result of domestic violence on Saturday, August 17, 2024.

She was born on September 8, 2003, in the city of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to her parents Trey Willis and Alona Washington who survives.  Treonna from birth was as fearless as they come.  Hurdling over childhood milestones her drive and determination were almost superhuman.  As both a lover and creator of music, it often served as her safe space when life felt overwhelming.

One of her greatest accomplishments came in June of 2022, when not even a month after Treonna’s paternal grandmother, Kristin Barfield, was tragically murdered, she fearlessly faced this traumatic event head on and became a 2022 graduate of Washington High School, thus honoring one of her late grandmothers dreams.  She aspired to pursue a career in nursing.  Securing her first job at the age of 16, she found no greater joy than being able to provide for herself, even though she had loving parents and grandparents that spoiled her relentlessly.

Treonna was the happiest whenever she was in the presence of her family.  As the oldest of all her siblings, her little brothers and sisters were the center of her universe.  She was the beat to her parents’ hearts, a light in the eye of her siblings, and a flame to all who knew and loved her.

Surviving in addition to her parents are seven brothers, Zxavian Willis, Imani Willis, Illias Willis, Tristin Willis, Trey Willis Jr, Ezra Willis all of Washington, Pennsylvania, and Sincere Washington of Beaver Falls; three sisters, S’ence Tyler,  Krislyn Willis both of Washington, Pennsylvania, and Mekiyah Washington of Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania; two aunts, Courtney Ellis of Washington, Pennsylvania and Juawanda Washington of Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania; five uncles, Micheal Walls of Washington, Pennsylvania, Chad Pennington, Jr., of Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania, Jaquan Pennington of Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania, Javon Washington of Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania, and Juan Washington of Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania; Maternal Grandmother, Lisa Washington of Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania, and Paternal Great Grandmother, Sharon Willis of Washington, Pennsylvania.

Treonna is preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Kristin Barfield of Washington.
