With the deepest sorrow and the most loving memories, we announce the passing of Lisa A. Quinn. She was born on April 5, 1962, in Washington, PA, and was unexpectedly called to her final resting place on December 29, 2023. Surviving to honor and cherish her memory is her beloved husband Chris Quinn; twin feline sons, Lewis and Clark; sister in law, Diana Wolf; aunt, Ann Seibel; niece, Amanda (Paul) Becker and their children, Tyler and Mckenzie; nephew, Paul G. (Rebecca) Wolf and their children, Adelyn and Dean; cousins, Wayne (Pam) Hunt, Dorian (Karen) Seibel, Kay (Jim) Gutowski, Laura (Tom) Wash, Mary (Allan) Geyer and many additional extended family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul J. Sr. and Mary Catherine Wolf, and by her brothers, Paul J. Wolf, Jr., and Mark S. Wolf.

Lisa graduated from Trinity High School in 1980, where she valued her time spent in the Trinity Marching band, helping to grow her love for music. She had a plethora of skills and talents she put to use over the years, as she worked at Eighty-Four Auction Sales, for a home engraving business, and in the catering field; however, her true passions were her service to the community and the love and loyalty she gave to her family.

She joined the North Franklin Volunteer Fire Company in 1982 and was a Lifetime Member, serving for 41 years in the roles of firefighter, vice president, director, and secretary elect. Notably, she was the first female firefighter in the company. As a pump operator, she was able to get water out of a rock, and she viewed her crew as family. Over the years, her service was invaluable.

Lisa married her soulmate on December 2, 2000, in Immaculate Conception Church, and ever since, she and Chris did everything at each other’s sides. One of their favorite things to do was to take day trips to Amish Country in Ohio. Lisa also enjoyed sewing and quilting, usually focusing her efforts on creating beautiful gifts that her family members hold dear. She was the queen of useless knowledge, and the Trivial Pursuit extraordinaire. Most of us didn’t stand a chance on family game night.

Lisa was always willing to step up and help her family, playing an integral role. She was a beloved babysitter to generations of nieces and nephews, and the smiles and laughter were endless. Whether it was harboring a niece that ran away from home, making her famous salad for family dinner, or watching Frozen for the 18th time in one week, she did it all with a smile and a heart overflowing with love, earning the treasured titles of Scooby and Aunt Isla.

Together with her cherished husband of 23 years, Lisa lived a life that enriched others through her service and through her love. Though she is no longer with us, the love she gave will always remain in our hearts and in the memories we will forever cherish.

Honoring Lisa’s wishes, in lieu of traditional services, a Celebration of Life is planned for family and friends on Saturday, April 13th, 2024, from 12pm - 4pm, at the North Franklin Volunteer Fire Company Social Hall (565 Sylvan Drive, Washington, PA 15301). A memorial service will occur within the first hour, followed by a Celebration of Life.
