William M. Wyland

William M. “Bill” Wyland, 64 of Washington, passed away in his home on Thursday-July 7, 2022 following a brief illness.  He was born September 29, 1957 in Washington, PA the son of the late John G. and Nyma L. McVehil Wyland.  Mr. Wyland was a 1975 graduate of Trinity High School.  He went on to serve in the United States Army and later began his career as a truck driver in the plastics transportation industry from where he retired after 35 years on the road.  Mr. Wyland was a long time member of the Moose, was a past member of Washington Lodge #164, the Keystone Club and the Jessop Boat Club in Carmichaels.  He was a regular member of the American Legion Hunt-Kennedy Post #639 in Claysville and was also a member of the Sons of the American Legion of the post.  Mr. Wyland served as an officer of the post, was a member of the Honor Guard and was involved with many other divisions of the post.  He was also a Charter Member of the American Legion Riders.  Mr. Wyland enjoyed camping, fishing, gardening, boating, riding his Harley and spending time with his wife and family.  He will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved him.

On July 31, 1999 he married Nancy A. Miller who survives.  Also surviving are three daughters, Stefanie (Chris) Kulla of Washington, Julie Durbin of Washington and Brandy Marie of Washington; a brother, Edward (Gerri) Wyland of Washington; three sisters, Marion (Dan) Krehel of Washington, Nyma (Ralph) Blatt of Washington and Elaine (Ed) Budner of Washington; eight grandchildren, Emily, Easton, Taylor, Allison, Lexie, Cecilia, Keeley and Mason.  Several nieces and nephews also survive.

In addition to his father and mother, Mr. Wyland was preceded in death by two brothers, John and Bob Wyland; a daughter, Ashley and two grandchildren, Dreux and Little O.

Friends will be received on Monday-July 11, 2022 from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 P.M. in the Warco-Falvo Funeral Home, Inc., Wilson at East Katherine Ave., Washington, S. Timothy Warco, Supervisor/Director, Holly Renay Warco, Director, S. Timothy Warco II, Director, Park N. Crosier, Director.  A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday-July 12, 2022 in the funeral home.  Interment will follow in Washington Cemetery.  Full military rites will be accorded by the American Legion Hunt-Kennedy Post #639 and the United States Army.  Condolences may be expressed at www.WarcoFalvoFuneralHome.com
