Rose L. Pelan Wrubleski

Rose L. Pelan Wrubleksi, 93, of Washington passed away Saturday, March 5, 2022.  She was born August 30, 1928 to Joseph and Mary Mihelcic Pelan.  Rose was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Joe, John, and Leonard and two sisters, Mary and Fran.  She was the last of her immediate family.

On April 17, 1949 Rose married the love of her life, Syl Wrubleski, who passed away in 1991.  Together they raised a daughter, Fran (Gene) Iddings, and three sons, Andy, Dan (Michele/Mikie) and Al (Michelle). They also had a second daughter, Regina, who passed in infancy.  Rose was also blessed with six grandchildren, two step grandsons, four great granddaughters, and five step great grandchildren.  She had so much love for all her family, especially her remaining nieces and nephews and their children.

Rose was a devout Catholic, attending Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Church where she volunteered at all church activities and fundraisers through the years.  Bingo was by far her favorite to volunteer at as she enjoyed all her coworkers.  Rose was a member of the Christian Mothers and also volunteered at the Washington Hospital.  She was also very proud of her Slovenian heritage as she was a 50 plus year member of the SNPJ.

The family takes comfort at this time knowing she is at peace as she is finally reunited with the love of her life, her husband.
