Harry Boiaroff

Harry Boiaroff, 92, of Washington, formerly of Marianna, died March 14, 2022.

He was born April 12, 1929, the second youngest of fifteen children to the late Kuzma and Martha Glubosky Boiaroff.

Mr. Boiaroff was a graduate of West Beth High School.  Following graduation, he worked in an automobile factory in Detroit, Michigan, then enlisted in the U.S. Air Force from 1950 to 1972 serving tours in Korean, England, Germany and Greenland.

While serving in the U.S Air Force, he met his wife, Betty Mann Boiaroff, and on May 18, 1957, they married in Norwich, England.

Having received an honorable discharge after serving 22 years in the U.S. Air Force, he retired and returned to Marianna.  Mr. Boiaroff then worked for the Social Security Administration for 26 years.

He was a member of the St. Nicholas Old Believers Russian Orthodox Church in Marianna, and the Steele-Lillie American Legion Post #744 in Marianna.

Surviving are three children, Steve Boiaroff, Sr. and his wife, Donna, of Marianna; Elaine (Sue) Johnson and her husband, Bill, of Washington; and Lisa Corlazzoli and her husband, Joe, of North Huntingdon.  Six grandchildren, Steve Boiaroff, Jr., Andrew Boiaroff, Jason Kint, Rachel Buchanan, Zachary Corlazzoli and Abigail Corlazzoli.  Three great-grandchildren, Aubree Buchanan, Ava Buchanan and Lennon Kayda-Kint.  One sister, Feodora Stoskel, of Marianna and several nieces and nephews.

He will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by all who knew him.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Marianna Volunteer Fire Company, PO Box 352, Marianna, PA 15345.

 Friends will be received on Thursday-March 17, 2022 from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. in the Warco-Falvo Funeral Home, Inc., Wilson at East Katherine Ave., Washington, S. Timothy Warco, Supervisor/Director, Holly Renay Warco, Director, S. Timothy Warco II, Director, Park N. Crosier, Director.  Services and burial will be private in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies with full military rites accorded by the United States Air Force and the Steele-Lillie American Legion Post #744, Marianna.  Condolences may be expressed at www.WarcoFalvoFuneralHome.com
