Danny W. Kosek Jr., 59 of Washington passed away peacefully on Saturday-July 3, 2021 in the Washington Hospital following a lengthy illness with his family at his side. He was born May 2, 1962 in Washington, PA the son of Danny W. and Helen E. Bunnell Kosek Sr. of Washington. Mr. Kosek was employed for the majority of his life as a roofer for Paul W. Miller Roofing where he eventually became a roofing foreman. He was Christian by faith and was a member of the V.F.W. #927 in Washington and was a former member of the Pulaski Club. Mr. Kosek was an avid fisherman and enjoyed camping and the outdoors. He will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved him.

Surviving is his wife, Sarah J. Kosek of Washington; a son, Danny W. “Peewee” (Erika) Kosek III of Washington; a daughter, Dana (Duncan) Parkinson of Washington; three brothers, Donald (Cindy) Kosek of Indiana, PA, Rick Kosek of Washington and James (Betty) Kosek of Washington and a sister, Kimberly (Robert) Byers of Washington. Several grandchildren also survive.
