Girthalee L. Fields, 81 of Washington, PA, formerly of Roanoke, Virginia passed away peacefully in her home on Tuesday-June 29, 2021.  She was born July 14, 1939 in Roanoke, Virginia the daughter of the late Leon Mack and Elizabeth Mayo Griffin.  Mrs. Fields was a former active member of Nazareth Baptist Church in Washington.  She was employed at Brockway Glass early in life and later went on to work at the Washington County Health Center in the dietary department from where she retired.  Mrs. Fields enjoyed spending time with her friends and family and was always the life of the party.  She enjoyed watching television especially her soap operas.  Mrs. Fields loved to cook and was excellent at it.  She also enjoyed her yearly trips to visit her family in Roanoke.  Mrs. Fields will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved her.

Surviving is her husband, Eugene C. “Cue” Fields of Washington.  The couple had been together for over 48 years.  Also surviving is a step daughter, Lisa A. Fields of Hermitage, PA; a sister, Emma Jane Woods of Roanoke; a step granddaughter, LiTasha Lacks of Sharon, PA; three step great grandsons, Tyvell Richardson, Orion Gamble and LeRoyce Coleman; a brother in law, Donald Campbell Sr. of Roanoke; a nephew, Donald (Stephanie) Campbell Jr. of Roanoke; four nieces, Carolyn Woods and Velma, Jennifer and Tempest Campbell all of Roanoke and her main man, Cameron Williams of Roanoke.  Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Deceased in addition to her parents is a sister, Thelma L. Campbell.

Friends will be received on Saturday-July 3, 2021 from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. the hour of a home going service in the Warco-Falvo Funeral Home, Inc., Wilson at East Katherine Ave., Washington, S. Timothy Warco, Supervisor/Director, Susan Falvo Warco, Director, S. Timothy Warco II, Director.  Pastor Walter Cherry will officiate.  Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association at www.lung.org.  Condolences may be expressed at www.WarcoFalvoFuneralHome.com
