Raymond V. Belfiore
/Raymond V. Belfiore, 84 of Washington, PA, formerly of Lawrence, PA died unexpectedly on Friday-April 16, 2021 in the Washington Hospital Emergency Room. He was born October 29, 1936 in Lawrence, PA the son of the late Victor and Madeline Borella Belfiore. Mr. Belfiore served in the United States Navy from 1954 until 1957 before being honorably discharged. He was employed at Ball Glass for over twenty years before going to work at Western Center in the maintenance department from where he retired. Mr. Belfiore was Roman Catholic by faith and was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church. He enjoyed fishing and shooting pool and was a huge Pittsburgh Pirates and Elvis fan. Mr. Belfiore was a true family man. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved him.
On March 13, 1965 he married Charlotte P. Young who survives. Also surviving is a son, Darren R. Belfiore of Washington; a daughter, Tracy P. of Washington; a brother, Edward (Nancy) Belfiore of Houston, PA; a sister, Agnes Belfiore of Lawrence, PA; eight grandchildren, Randy, Courtney, Cassidy, Morgan, Layla, Elizabeth, Jayden and Nevaeh; three great grandchildren, Vanessa, Jaxon and Seriah and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased in addition to his parents are two brothers, James and Larry Belfiore and three sisters, Mary Volovich, Cecelia Petras and Eleanor Langer.
Friends will be received on Tuesday-April 20, 2021 from 10:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. the hour of a blessing service in the Warco-Falvo Funeral Home, Inc., Wilson at East Katherine Ave., Washington, S. Timothy Warco, Supervisor/Director, Susan Falvo Warco, Director, S. Timothy Warco II, Director. Interment will follow in Queen of Heaven Cemetery, McMurray.
