Donald R. Lemley, 81, passed away on November 27, 2020 in Washington PA.  He was born December 10, 1938 in Washington, a son of the late Charles and Flora Lemley.

He was a 1958 graduate of Trinity High School where he met and later married Barbara Gantz on June 6, 1959 in Winchester Virginia. They were married 59 years before Barbara’s passing.

Together they were owner/operators of Scotty’s Hardware and Ice Cream Shop for 25 years.

Don enjoyed restoring and showing antique cars which resulted in him being awarded several Grand National Trophies.  He loved watching football, especially the Steelers games and spending time with family and friends.  Don was kindhearted and always willing to offer a helping hand to anyone in need.  He had a great sense of humor and was well respected and loved by those who knew him.

Surviving are three daughters, Sharon Lemley (Donald Buxbaum), Lisa (Barry) Sachek and Lynne (Joe) Del Sole; three grandchildren, Matthew Sachek, Alexa Sachek and Danica Del Sole; siblings, Robert (Lois) Lemley, Carol Andrews, Janet (Pat) Rice and Charles (Dixie) Lemley.

Deceased in addition to his parents and beloved wife is a brother-in-law and dear friend, James Andrews and a sister-in-law, Joyce Lemley

Friends will be received on Saturday-March 13, 2021 from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. in the Warco-Falvo Funeral Home, Inc., Wilson at East Katherine Ave., Washington, S. Timothy Warco, Supervisor/Director, Susan Falvo Warco, Director, S. Timothy Warco II, Director.  A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday in the funeral home.  The public is welcome to attend both the visitation and memorial service and guests are asked to wear a facial covering.  State occupancy regulations will be adhered to.  In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate that donations be made to the local food bank or local animal shelter of one’s choice.  Arrangements are under the direction of the Warco-Falvo Funeral Home, Inc., Wilson at East Katherine Ave., Washington, S.
