Mildred Eonda
/Mildred Eonda, 86 of Washington passed away peacefully on Thursday-November 25, 2021 in the Washington Hospital with her family at her side. She was born September 16, 1935 in Washington, PA the daughter of the late Samuel and Anna Ruscello Ruggiero. Mrs. Eonda was a 1953 graduate of Trinity High School where she was the Head Majorette. She was a lifetime member of the Immaculate Conception Church and was employed for many years as a chef at the George Washington Hotel. Mrs. Eonda loved working at the hotel and was a very hard worker. She specialized in making wedding cakes there. Mrs. Eonda enjoyed baking cooking and sewing. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family. She was like a second mother and best friend to her two nieces who adored her. She will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved her.
Surviving is a sister, Phyllis Zavatski of Washington; a granddaughter, Alissa-Rae Eonda of Tampa, Florida; and two nieces, Andrea Zavatski of Naples, Florida and Joan (Patrick Lamb) Zavatski of North Palm Beach, Florida. Several beloved cousins and their spouses also survive.
