Robert E. Patrene
/Robert E. Patrene, 79 of Canonsburg, passed away on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 where he was surrounded with his beloved family by his side. He was born October 31, 1942 the son of the late Robert and Irene Patrene of Washington PA.
Surviving is his loving wife, Loraine (Marra) Patrene and daughter, Dana Christoff and husband, Ryan Christoff plus three beautiful grandchildren, Gianna, Celena and Isabella DaPra as well as his siblings, Irene Morris and Marion Wagner.
Deceased family members include a son, Robert G. Patrene and siblings, Cathy Patrene, Barbara (Craig) Patrene, and Jimmy Patrene.
Mr. Patrene was a successful business owner of “Roberts For Hair” in McMurray, PA as well as an educator and hair dresser for over 60 years. He started his business at the age of 19 and worked all the way up until age 79. He graduated from Canon McMillan High School and served in the Army National Guard. Throughout his life, Robert was elected to the State Board of Cosmetology for 2 years where he taught and sat on the board. Robert was part of the FIGS Organization, was on the board of directors for the Tony & Guy Hair Dressing Academy where he taught and mentored Hair Dressers from all over. He was an avid hunter and member of the Washington Sportsman Association and Library Sportsman Club. He had a green thumb and was a wonderful gardener. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, walking his dog, Rosie, and taking trips to Clearwater, FL with his loving wife.
Robert will be sadly missed as he was a great man and a friend to anyone he encountered.
Friends will be received on Sunday-November 21, 2021 from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 P.M. in the Warco-Falvo Funeral Home, Inc., Wilson at East Katherine Ave., Washington, S. Timothy Warco, Supervisor/Director, Holly Renay Warco, Director, S. Timothy Warco II, Director, Park N. Crosier, Director. A blessing service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday-November 22, 2021 in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Queen of Heaven Cemetery, McMurray.
