James Joseph "Grizz" Rozanc
/James Joseph “Grizz” Rozanc, 55 of West Alexander died unexpectedly on Saturday-August 11, 2018 in the Washington Hospital following a brief illness. He was born April 18, 1963 in Pittsburgh Pa. the son of the late James Andrew Rozanc and Joy Ann Koblak (Elmer) Heaps of Bethel Park. Mr. Rozanc was a graduate of Canon McMillan High School. He was currently employed at Washington Ford in the Service and Parts department. Mr. Rozanc was a member of St. Michael’s Byzantine Catholic Church in Canonsburg. He loved to ride his Harley Davidson, enjoyed playing the drums and singing karaoke. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his friends and family. He will be dearly missed.
On April 30, 2017 in St. Michael’s Byzantine Catholic Church he married Mary Anne Sawczak who survives. Also surviving is a sister; Marnie (John) Fitzgerald of Florida, three brothers; J.P. (Shari) Rozanc of Florida, Chris (Jenn) Rozanc of Texas and Scott Rozanc of Texas, step-mother; Maggie Rozanc of Texas. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a daughter; Amanda Marie Rozanc and paternal grandparents; John C. and Marie Rozanc.
Friends will be received on Tuesday-August 14, 2018 and on Wednesday-August 15, 2018 from 2 P.M. until 4 P.M. and 6 P.M. until 8 P.M. in the Warco-Falvo Funeral Home, Inc., Wilson at East Katherine Ave., Washington, S. Timothy Warco, Supervisor/Director, Susan Falvo Warco, Director, S. Timothy Warco II, Director. A Parastas Service will be held at 3:30 P.M. on Tuesday in the funeral home. Divine Liturgy will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday-August 16, 2018 in St. Michael’s Byzantine Catholic Church, Canonsburg with the Very Reverend R. Joseph Raptosh officiating. Interment will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Michael’s Byzantine Catholic Church, 166 E. College St. Canonsburg Pa. 15317.
