William W. "Toby" McMillan

William W. “Toby” McMillan, 70 of Waynesburg died Friday-June 15, 2018 in his home with his wife by his side following a lengthy illness.  He was born November 13, 1947 in Cecil, PA the son of Helen McMillan of Canonsburg and the grandson of the late Joseph and Margaret McMillan.  Mr. McMillan attended Canon McMillan schools.  He served in the United States Army from 1967 until 1969 where he proudly served his country as a combat engineer in Vietnam.  For most of his life he worked on the railroad.  Mr. McMillan was a member of the VFW #4793, Waynesburg, the American Legion Post #330, Waynesburg and was a life member of the Arden Club in Washington.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing and riding motorcycles.  Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family.

On May 13, 1967 he married Charlotte D. “Punky” Greene who survives.  The couple had been married for fifty one years.  Also surviving are two daughters; Carla Johnson of Monticello, Georgia and Toby (James) Whipkey of Waynesburg, a brother; Butch Johnson of Burgettstown, a sister; Marjorie Benard of Canonsburg, six grandchildren; Lacey, Kacee, Macy (Curtis), MacKenzie, London and Pieper and four great-grandchildren; Bentlee, Kole, Kennedy and Quintin.

In addition to his grandparents, Mr. McMillan was preceded in death by a son; Mitchell D. McMillan, four brothers; Bob, Pete, Porky and Jim and a sister; Martha.

Friends will be received on Tuesday-June 19, 2018 from 2 P.M. until 8 P.M. in the Warco-Falvo Funeral Home, Inc., Wilson at East Katherine Ave. Washington, S. Timothy Warco, Supervisor/Director, Susan Falvo Warco, Director, S. Timothy Warco II, Director.  A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday-June 20, 2018 in the funeral home with the Rev. Rick Kauffman officiating.  Interment will follow in Rosemont Cemetery, Rogersville.  Full military rites will be accorded by the VFW # 4793 Honor Guard and the United States Army.  Condolences may be expressed at www.WarcoFalvoFuneralHome.com
